You are a Coach, Entrepreneur, or Creative business owner, and right now you’re struggling with attracting more of your ideal clients.

You know you need to show up authentically in your marketing - but it can all feel a bit overwhelming.

I totally get it. You, my friend, are in the right place!

Hi! I’m Tabitha

I work with creative business owners, entrepreneurs, start-ups, and coaches who want to attract more of their ideal clients, show up in their marketing, or stand out as leaders in their field.

In my past professional life, I saw the impact of negative photo experiences on people, and I myself have been in front of the camera with results that made me feel pretty stink.

This stops so many people from showing up authentically in their marketing - which means their ideal clients don’t even know they exist.

I’ve been there myself: One year my aunt made wrapping paper of terrible photos of me for Christmas.

Yup, I have had a LOT of bad photos.

Storytelling and helping people to realise their best are two of my biggest passions.

I worked as a professional director for both stage and screen after getting my Master of Theatre Arts in Directing from Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School.

During the creation of a theatre show, I really wanted to help it sell and I knew that compelling photos would really help with that.

So I started to learn how to translate what I saw in my mind into beautiful photos that told a story with intention to connect with the audience.

My show started selling out due to my (ahem, not-so-humble-brag) fricking awesome imagery and marketing materials.

Other artists started paying me to do theirs, and actors started asking me to take their headshots.

My photography business grew from the Arts into what I do now.

For about 21 years I worked as a graphic designer - from corporate, to advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi, to boutique design studios, to freelance.

One of the experiences during my time as a designer has always stuck with me: a photographer was hired to shoot a senior leader (let’s call her ‘Mel’). After the session, I had multiple members of Mel’s team share with me how badly the photographer made her feel.

Obviously that photographer was not hired again - but it was more than that.

Stepping in front of the camera is a vulnerable place to be.

Thousands of people have shared with me how nervous they feel about it. I feel it’s the photographer’s responsibility to make the experience a blimmin positive one.

My aha! moment came when I photographed Anna.

Anna needed photos of herself for her business. A successful, experienced business owner, Anna had been photographed several times before - but she still felt really hecking nervous.

Anna had been searching for a photographer that would help her feel good about the experience itself, as well as capture images she loved to help her proudly promote and attract future clients to her business.

It was then I realised I could bring my directing, design, and photography skills and strengths together and create an experience to help people feel awesome about themselves personally and professionally, with an empowering photo experience and authentic images of them strategically designed to attract their ideal audience.

I know that Mel and Anna weren’t the only ones struggling with the experience of being photographed, loving their photos, or putting them out proudly into the world.

That’s why I decided to create this service.

Now I specialise in personal branding photography and have helped hundreds of business women from all over New Zealand and across the world to feel great about their images and to proudly use their photos to help next-level their branding.

Ready to finally show up confidently in your marketing and attract more of your ideal clients?

Vanessa and Mark Piper, Distant Field Labs, Wellington.

“Although we’re yet to launch, it has already positively impacted our startup because we can now see how “WE” look, as a business, as co-founders, as professionals.

Neither of us have a lot of experience in front of cameras, and we were naturally sure we were going to stuff it up somehow or just make so much work for Tabitha.

Our biggest surprise was how much we had been walked through the process by the time we got there, and how ready we felt on the day. Sure, terrified, but ready!

Just do it, trust Tabitha, trust the process, you will not regret it!

It is a strange thing to think about your future self, where you want to be - but it’s an exercise that we’ve found ourselves using again since in other aspects of our business.

Being able to see ourselves professionally and work towards somehow evolving towards that on all levels has been an epic journey and we’re utterly grateful for the experience! ”

“The guy at the magazine actually called me from the UK just to say how amazing the photos were!”
